Horniman Museum Defended

Lewisham Liberal Democrats have backed the continuing independence of the Horniman Museum and defended it against any move to bring it under the control of Ken Livingstone.
Liberal Democrat Forest Hill Councillor Alex Feakes said:
"The Horniman Museum is a world class institution, enjoyed by local residents and visitors from elsewhere alike.
"The Museums exhibitions are of international interest and not just relevant to London alone.
"Therefore, the Museum's future will be best served by remaining independent, being funded nationally and kept out of the clutches of Ken".
